Miyagawa Morning Market

The lively market is held every morning along the Miyagawa River in Takayama, Gifu. Stretching about 700 meters, the market offers fresh local vegetables, fruits, pickles, and miso, as well as handmade crafts and miscellaneous goods, so it is loved by both visitors and locals. It is a popular heartwarming spot where you can enjoy the Hida’s simple culture and interaction with people while feeling the murmur of the river.
