Gifu Castle

The castle is situated on top of Mt. Kinka in Gifu City, Gifu and known as a base that Oda Nobunaga used to unify Japan. Standing at an elevation of 329 meters, it offers breathtaking views, and you can see Gifu city and all the way to Ise Bay from the castle keep.

The current castle keep was reconstructed in 1956 and serves as a museum now.
You can get to the top by cable car or hiking trails and enjoy its history and nature.

Fee
The Gifu Mt. Kinka Ropeway, which operates approximately every 15 minutes, is available.
Ropeway fee: Adults (One-way) – 800 yen Children (One-way) – 400 yen
Adults (Round-trip) – 1,300 yen Children (Round-trip) – 650 yen
