Toyata Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology

This museum reuses the factory that was used in the Taisho period at the birthplace of the Toyota Group. It offers great experiences of learning about Japan’s evolution of textile machinery and automobile technology that supported Japan’s development through dynamic displays and demonstrations by using real machinery.

The museum is divided into two sections: “Textile Machinery Hall,” which features exhibits such as the automatic loom invented by Sakichi Toyoda, and “Automobile Hall,” which introduces vehicles from the earliest ones developed by Kiichiro Toyoda to the latest technology. Additionally, they offer a variety of experiential programs and demonstrations by machinery that actually moves, which are very exciting and popular among both children and adults.
